Warranty services in dentistry
As with all medical services, the care taken in the work can be guaranteed, but not the success of the medical measures. If the treating dentist breaches their duty of care, they or their liability insurance must be answerable for it. The limitation period is 10 years from the completion of the treatment; for dental technical work pieces, the one-year warranty of the contract for work and services applies.
Ombudsman's office
Our goal is always to work to your complete satisfaction. If no solution can be found between the practitioner and the patient, the case can be reviewed with the practice's internal ombudsperson. You will find us at Barfüsserplatz 6, 4051 Basel, on the second floor above Café Huguenin – in the middle of the city. By tram, you can reach us via the Barfüsserplatz stop (lines 3, 6, 8, 11) or Theater (lines 6, 10).
